Specialized Structural Supervision:
Monitoring the construction of poultry sheds (closed and open) and steel structures to ensure accuracy of dimensions and areas.
Preparation of Insulation Systems:
Supervising the installation of thermal and moisture insulation materials for walls and ceilings (sandwich panels) to protect birds from weather fluctuations.
Infrastructure Establishment:
Supervising the implementation of water networks, waste sewage systems, and the bases for installing ventilation fans and cooling pads.
Floor and Concrete Execution:
Pouring smooth, acid-resistant, and chemical-resistant concrete floors to facilitate regular cleaning and disinfection operations.
Biosecurity Application:
Designing and implementing disinfection gates, car wash stations, and external fences to prevent disease transmission to the farm.
Quality Management and Compliance:
Accepting work from contractors and verifying its conformity with engineering drawings and the requirements of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
Experience:
Previous experience in supervising the construction of steel structures (warehouses) or hangars, preferably in agricultural or livestock projects.
Licensing: Valid membership in a professional body.
Required Skills
Specialized Knowledge: Understanding the mechanical movement requirements inside sheds (feed tracks, water lines, air extraction).
Reading Drawings: Proficiency in reading and modifying structural and architectural drawings and infrastructure networks.
Field Flexibility: Ability to work in remote locations (outside urban areas) and effectively manage labor and contractors.
