The Purchasing Supervisor plays a vital role in managing the essential link between restaurant management, suppliers, and operational teams. This position is responsible for ensuring the timely provision of high-quality food and non-food items at competitive prices.

Key responsibilities include:

• Team Oversight: Managing and monitoring the work of purchasing representatives and ensuring compliance with standard procedures.
• Order and Inventory Management: Continuous coordination with the storekeeper and restaurant manager to identify shortages and prevent any stoppage in the kitchen.
• Supplier Negotiation: Seeking the best suppliers, comparing prices and quality, and securing favorable payment and delivery terms.
• Quality Control and Delivery Monitoring: Ensuring the timely arrival of goods, verifying compliance with health standards and agreed specifications, and resolving any issues or delays promptly.
• Report Preparation: Submitting regular reports to restaurant management covering the performance of the purchasing team, price movements, and any complaints regarding suppliers.
