Job description
The Planning Manager will lead planning, scheduling, and project controls activities for a major mixed-use urban development program comprising infrastructure, landscape, public realm, cultural, hospitality, commercial, and residential assets. The role will ensure effective schedule management, progress monitoring, forecasting, and reporting across multiple contractors and project packages.
Develop and manage integrated master schedules using Primavera P6. Review and assess contractors' baseline, recovery, and revised schedules. Monitor project progress against approved baselines and key milestones. Conduct critical path analysis and recommend mitigation measures. Lead planning, progress, and schedule review meetings. Prepare monthly executive reports, dashboards, and forecasts. Coordinate planning activities across design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover phases. Support risk management, delay analysis, and Extension of Time (EOT) assessments. Manage schedule interfaces between contractors, consultants, and stakeholders. Lead and mentor planning engineers and project controls team members.
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline. Minimum 15 years of planning and scheduling experience on major construction or infrastructure projects. Minimum 5 years in a Planning Manager role. Experience on giga-projects, mixed-use developments, infrastructure, or large master-planned communities. Previous PMC/PMCM or consultancy experience preferred. GCC/Middle East experience highly desirable. Immediate joiner is required
