Job Description:
Inventory Management:
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure the availability of medical supplies and pharmaceuticals in the warehouse.
- Conduct regular audits of the warehouse to ensure the accuracy of records.
- Ensure compliance with specified timelines for shipping and delivery operations.
Storage and Organization:
- Store medications according to appropriate health and safety standards, considering specific storage conditions such as temperature and humidity.
- Organize the warehouse to facilitate access to medications and prevent any accumulation or damage.
Supervision of the Team:
- Lead and guide the warehouse team, including receiving, shipping, and inventory management staff.
- Train the team on safe and effective work practices.
- Evaluate employee performance and provide constructive feedback.
Management of Logistics Operations:
- Coordinate with suppliers and relevant parties to ensure timely delivery of medications.
- Prepare distribution plans for medications and direct shipments to required destinations.
Ensuring Compliance:
- Ensure the warehouse complies with all local and international regulations related to medications.
- Monitor health and safety conditions in the warehouse.
- Manage safe disposal operations for expired medications.
Report Preparation:
- Prepare regular reports on inventory movement, incoming shipments, and distribution.
- Provide recommendations for improving operations and reducing costs.
Improving Operations:
- Suggest improvements to enhance operational efficiency within the warehouse.
