Inspector QA/QC - Coating

Conduct thorough visual inspections of coated surfaces to identify defects such as blistering, peeling, or surface irregularities, ensuring compliance with project specifications.

Perform adhesion tests (e.g., cross-hatch, pull-off) to verify the integrity and durability of applied coatings according to established standards.

Measure coating thickness using calibrated gauges (e.g., PIG, Elcometer) to confirm it meets the required dry film thickness (DFT) as per material data sheets.

Monitor surface preparation activities, including abrasive blasting and cleaning, to ensure optimal conditions for coating application and adhesion.

NACE Level 2, BGAS Level 1, or BGAS Level 2 certification

Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent; a Technical Diploma in a relevant field is advantageous.

Hold recognized certifications such as NACE Coating Inspector Program (CIP) Level 1 or 2, or equivalent.

Familiarity with coating materials, application methods, and relevant international standards (e.g., SSPC, ISO, ASTM).

Minimum 6 years of Oil & Gas Coating Inspection experience after obtaining any one of the above certifications

Previous Saudi Aramco approval / project experience will be preferred and considered an added advantage
