Red Sea Company Announces Senior Business Development Manager Position

Job Title:

High-level administrative position within the C3 organization, responsible for developing corporate business strategy, exploring business growth opportunities, expanding service scope, innovation, and developing and improving support delivery methods. Coordinating with the Executive Director to develop the Business Development department and ensure its effectiveness, and representing the team in internal and external meetings, events, and partnerships.

Functional Responsibilities:

  • Managing bid submission deadlines and proactive requests and ensuring their delivery.
  • Participating in planning and preparing tender documents and writing high-quality price proposals.
  • Overseeing tender interview management and facilitating the subsequent evaluation session.
  • Assessing feedback from tender proposals and facilitating learning within the department.
  • Ensuring support for obtaining accreditation from local entities such as the Public Investment Fund and Aramco.
  • Compiling information and data related to the organization's market and monitoring planning strategies in Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
  • Coordinating with the Operations department to ensure new business opportunities align with strategic plans.
  • Managing new projects from the implementation phase to operation, and managing associated risks.
  • Identifying project prerequisites, with a focus on financial, health, safety, and quality aspects.
  • Managing the organization's financial and administrative resources and contributing to budgeting.
  • Monitoring budgets and implementing corrective strategies when needed.
  • Representing the organization at national and international conferences and events as required.
  • Preparing a monthly report for the Executive Director on workflow, progress, and actions taken.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • MBA or Professional Project Management certification preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of the construction industry and tender/bid processes and contract negotiation.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project), and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High leadership, negotiation, and managerial skills.
  • Strong financial and commercial capabilities with the ability to analyze project feasibility and ROI.

Experience:

  • 13-15 years of experience in business development within the construction sector, including 5-7 years in a managerial or senior position.
  • Proven track record in securing large-scale construction projects through public and private sector tenders.
  • Experience in identifying and developing new business opportunities in infrastructure, real estate development, engineering, procurement, construction, or design-build projects.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and public sector officials.
  • Experience in leading proposal development, responding to RFPs, and negotiating multi-million-dollar project contracts.
  • Experience in expanding business into new markets or regions and contributing to long-term growth strategies.
