Overview
The Senior Cost Control professional is responsible for planning, monitoring, analyzing, and controlling project costs to ensure delivery within the approved budget. The role involves close coordination with project teams, finance, procurement, and management to provide accurate cost forecasts, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
Your role
- Assist the Contracts Manager in establishing project cash flow and budget
- Control project expenses and revenue to ensure conformity with the project cash flow and budget
- Monitor deviations between the project budgeted figures and the actual expenses incurred
- Add overhead costs, financial expenses to the project cash flow based on input from Accounting reports
- Track the profitability of each project
- Consolidate the cash flow statements and budgets of all projects
- Estimate projects receivables and payables
- Compute rework costs, indicators, Hourly rates, shipped BOQ value
- Preparation of Quarterly and yearly reports to the ministry of Finance
- Plan, implement and manage company s Accounting department, make suggestions for improvement and plan their execution (Automation, procedure change, on-board new personnel)
- Overseeing the management of the company s cash flow.
- Control the preparation of accounting and financial reports
- Negotiating and contracting client s deals
- Planning, ordering and conducting internal audits when necessary to make sure operations are optimized and ISO standards are met
- Analyzing the company's current processes and developing them to meet with ISO 9PHONE_NUMBER Standards
About you
- Helping with the development and implementation of the company's strategic plan.
- Generating specific reports to be used for developing and implementing budgets.
- Controlling the cost of production and working on reducing it
- Conduct monthly & quarterly accounts reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
- Support month-end & year-end closing procedures
- Handling receivables & payables accounts, as well as company accounts
- Preparing Journal vouchers, employee salaries, income taxes, CNSS
- Bank reconciliation and all related entry adjustments, VAT transaction analysis
- Liaise with internal & external auditors
