Overview
Graduate Development Program is designed to equip graduates with a strong foundation in the energy and water sector, while developing their financial skills, leadership skills, and business acumen working with a leading industry player.
This program is designed to provide hands-on exposure across key finance functions like Accounting & Reporting, Tax, Asset Management Finance, and Corporate Finance. The trainee will participate in structured rotations, gaining practical experience and developing a strong foundation in financial operations and business partnering within a dynamic energy environment.
Location: Riyadh/Damam, Saudi Arabia
Your Job Functions (Duties & Responsibilities)
Accounting & Reporting
Learn fundamental accounting concepts and principles.
Introduction to components of financial statements and GAAP.
Assist in recording invoice in AP & AR.
Assist in bank reconciliation.
Tax
Learn and understand various types of taxation and its principles.
Learn about individual country tax compliance.
Support preparation of VAT, corporate tax, and other regulatory filings.
Assist in maintaining tax documentation and compliance records.
Asset Management-Finance
Learn about financial tracking and reporting of projects and operational assets.
Assist in asset capitalization, depreciation, and fixed asset reconciliations.
Participate in budgeting and forecasting for energy assets and infrastructure projects.
Corporate Finance
Learn about financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
Participate in cash flow monitoring and treasury-related activities.
Contribute to financial presentations and strategic planning initiatives.
Qualifications & Skill Sets
Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline.
Recent graduate or up to 1 2 years of relevant internship/work experience.
Strong analytical and numerical skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle is an advantage.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Interest in the energy, utilities, or infrastructure sector.
