Job Summary
The Site Accountant is responsible for managing all accounting and financial activities at the assigned food and beverage operation, including inventory control, food cost monitoring, petty cash, supplier documentation, and financial reporting. The role ensures accurate financial records, effective inventory management of food and beverage items, cost control, and compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and internal procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate daily accounting records and financial transactions for the assigned site.
- Monitor and control inventory movements of food, beverage, packaging, and non-food items, including receiving, issuing, transfers, and stock reconciliation.
- Conduct periodic physical inventory counts and investigate stock variances.
- Monitor food and beverage costs and support cost control initiatives to minimize waste and optimize profitability.
- Manage petty cash, prepare reconciliations, and maintain supporting documentation.
- Verify supplier invoices against Purchase Orders (POs), Goods Received Notes (GRNs), and approved deliveries.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial, inventory, and cost reports.
- Monitor site operating expenses and ensure compliance with approved budgets.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Warehouse, Operations, Production, and Head Office Finance teams.
- Ensure all accounting records are accurate, complete, and properly maintained.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required financial and inventory documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies, inventory procedures, and internal controls.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management.
