Job description
Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely availability of materials and services, optimizing costs without compromising quality.
Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to understand technical specifications and project requirements for accurate sourcing.
Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers, ensuring favorable conditions that align with project budgets and timelines.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of procurement experience in the construction or engineering sectors, demonstrating a strong understanding of project needs.
Certifications such as Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) or Project Management Professional (PMP) are highly desirable.
Experience working with international suppliers and projects, showing adaptability to diverse cultural and regulatory environments.
