Firefighter

Rapidly respond to emergency calls, assessing the situation and deploying appropriate firefighting techniques and equipment to save lives and property.

Conduct thorough inspections of buildings and fire hazards, ensuring compliance with safety codes and regulations to prevent fire incidents.

Perform advanced rescue operations, including extricating individuals from dangerous situations, such as vehicle accidents or collapsed structures.

Engage in ongoing training and drills to maintain physical fitness and proficiency in firefighting techniques, equipment operation, and emergency response.

Responds to fire emergencies, performs firefighting and safety inspections.

High school diploma or equivalent; further education in fire science, emergency management, or a related field is preferred.

Completion of a firefighter training academy and possession of relevant certifications, such as EMT or paramedic qualifications.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in firefighting or emergency services, demonstrating hands-on expertise in high-pressure environments.

Preference for candidates with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record, as driving fire apparatus is a core responsibility.
