Heavy auto electricians are responsible for diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining the electrical and electronic systems found in heavy equipment such as cranes, excavators, and other motorized vehicles. They use specialized diagnostic tools to identify electrical faults, repair wiring, service batteries, alternators, starter motors, ignition systems, electronic control units (ECUs), lighting systems, and other vehicle electronics. The role requires strong technical knowledge, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship and safety.
