Job Title: Insurance Analyst
- JOB PURPOSE
The aim is to state the overall significance of the job from the organization's perspective.
As an Insurance Analyst in KJO GA Company, ensure comprehensive asset coverage, cost-efficiency, and risk management. Oversee policy evaluations, claims processing, and regulatory compliance for safeguarding valuable assets.
- MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Policies, Processes, and Procedures
- Assist in the development and implementation of section policies, processes, and procedures to ensure all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled.
- Implement day-to-day operations of Insurance Section to ensure that work is performed in accordance with assigned procedures and legislation.
Day-to-Day Operations
- Run the administration of non-transactional aspects of operational and asset insurance renewal.
- Stakeholder coordination.
- Analysis and evaluation of insurance companies and brokers.
- Review of insurance policies.
- Facilitation of survey visits and tracking of improvement recommendations.
- Record maintenance and provision of reports.
Asset & Operational Insurance
- Scrutinize and assess current asset insurance policies for coverage adequacy.
- Collaborate with insurers to negotiate favorable policy terms and premiums.
- Research and propose new policies to address emerging risks.
- Manage asset insurance claims, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
Policy Evaluation & Management
- Monitor the progress of claims, advocating for fair and efficient resolutions.
Claims Processing
- Supervise the preparation of timely and accurate departmental reports / adhoc reports to Company and department requirements, policies and standards.
Reporting

Safety, Health & Environmental
- Ensure and promote a safe work environment by adhering to all safety and environmental regulations.
- Any other work assigned by management as required.

Academic & Professional Qualification
- BS in Economics / Business Administration or a related field
Experience
- Minimum 4 years of experience
Languages
- Minimum English language required is KJO L5 – Upper-Intermediate
