Role specific responsibilities
- Report directly to the Warehouse Leads.
- Carry out all tasks physically and accurately.
- Keep the warehouse area safe, clean, tidy and orderly.
- Check and inspect stock items for wear or damage, and reports any discrepancies to the warehouse leads.
- Adhere to and apply the 5s, SOP, and Lean objectives.
- Support ethical and professional compliance of all company policies and procedures.
- May be asked to use the company van to transport parts, materials and finished goods to and from third parties.
Tasks include:
- Receive, check and move materials to the requested location
- Mark all materials with identifying information (stickers/labels)
- Independently print stickers and labels for marking purposes
- Using (electric) tools to get materials in/out of crates
- Pick and pack outgoing materials, considering weights and measures
- Receive and put back on shelves any return shipment of rental projects
- Load, unload and move materials using forklift, reach truck and/or overhead crane
- Sort and place goods on racks, shelves or in boxes according to a predetermined order, such as material number and/or size, type, colour, etc.
- Perform “cycle counts”.
- All other common and relevant warehouse related tasks.
Secondary Vocational Education (MBO) or higher.
2-3 years Warehouse experience with forklift certification.
- Clerical skills in order processing and data retrieval using our software system SAP.
- Teamwork, initiative, and self-motivation skills.
- Capable of lifting 0 – 25 kg regularly using personal protective equipment as required by OSHA / Company policy.
- Good work ethics, understand and promote the need for efficiency.
- Understand and promote the need for continual improvement.
- Committed to adhering to all Company policies and procedures as outlined in the General Policy and Procedures manual/Handbook.
