Network Engineer

Responsibilities:

Technical:

• Involved with installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and administration of existing or future network infrastructures.
• Interface with vendors to ensure appropriate communication and issue resolutions.
• Perform routine health checks and preventive measures on assigned systems.
• Monitor the network and report network failures or degradations to more senior team members and the direct manager.
• Run proof of concept deployment and troubleshoot issues to identify and address root causes.
• Follow and maintain ISE network operations and security standards.
• Work on maintaining technical expertise in all areas of network components in operation.

Administrative:

• Actively collaborate with other groups in IT Operations to support projects and day-to-day operations as defined by the supervisor.
• Proactively and effectively communicate status, plan-of-action and resolution of reported issues.
• Consistently provide internal and external customers and technology partners with high-quality support experience.
• Effectively manage case escalations to senior network engineers or the Network Operations Manager while maintaining customer communications.

Documentation:

• Maintain ISE s operational documentation up to date
• Assist in generating technical documentation and guide manuals

Job Requirements:

• A minimum of three years experience in network deployment and operations.
• Fluent in Arabic and English
• Bachelor s degree in IT, Computer Science or a similar field as a minimum.
• CCNA Certified
