Main Responsibilities
Firstly: Design of Water Networks
- Design of water transport and distribution networks.
- Preparation of hydraulic calculations for networks and analysis of pressures and flows.
- Determining optimal diameters and routes for water lines.
- Design of pump stations and network-related components.
- Selecting and defining specifications for pumps and mechanical equipment related to the network.
- Preparation of engineering drawings and schematics specific to water networks.
- Reviewing and improving network efficiency and reducing losses.
Secondly: Design of Sanitary Sewer Networks
- Design of sanitary sewer networks and discharge lines.
- Conducting hydraulic calculations for sanitary sewer networks.
- Preparation of longitudinal and cross-sectional drawings for networks.
- Coordination with other disciplines to ensure design integration.
Thirdly: Design of Pumping Stations and Force Mains
- Design of sanitary sewer pumping stations and force mains.
- Conducting calculations for flow rates and pressures for pumps (TDH).
- Selecting appropriate pumps and mechanical equipment for the project.
- Designing internal piping systems and discharge and suction lines.
- Designing pump station buildings and mechanical attachments.
- Preparing technical specifications for pumps and mechanical equipment.
Fourthly: Technical Documentation
- Preparing design reports and engineering calculations.
- Preparing technical specifications for materials and equipment.
- Preparing Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
- Preparing tender documents and technical specifications.
- Reviewing and approving shop drawings and detailed designs specific to pumping stations.
Fifthly: Technical Support
- Reviewing and approving materials and equipment submitted by contractors.
- Reviewing shop drawings.
- Responding to technical inquiries (RFIs).
- Providing technical support during implementation and commissioning.
