Job Title: Woodwork Estimator (5+ Years Experience)

Location: Jeddah - Saudia Arabia

Position Type: Full-time

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Woodwork Estimator with at least 5 years of experience in estimating costs for woodworking, joinery, and fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing project requirements, preparing accurate cost estimates, and supporting the tendering process to ensure competitive and profitable bids.

Key Responsibilities:

Review architectural drawings, specifications, and BOQs (Bill of Quantities) related to woodwork and joinery.

Prepare detailed cost estimates for custom furniture, cabinetry, doors, panels, and interior fit-out works.

Perform quantity take-offs and material analysis.

Source and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.

Prepare tender submissions, including pricing, clarifications, and value engineering options.

Coordinate with design, production, and project teams to ensure accuracy of estimates.

Monitor market rates for materials, labor, and subcontracting works. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

Assist in project budgeting and cost control during execution.

Maintain estimation records and databases for future reference.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience in woodwork/joinery estimation.

Strong knowledge of materials such as MDF, plywood, veneer, laminates, and solid wood.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Proficiency in estimation and quantity take-off tools (e.g., Excel, AutoCAD; knowledge of other software is a plus).

Good understanding of production processes and installation methods. Strong analytical and numerical skills.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or related field.

Experience in interior fit-out or furniture manufacturing companies.

Familiarity with local market rates and suppliers.
