Supervise all production, manufacturing, welding, fabrication, assembly, painting, and testing activities.
Ensure production plans and targets are achieved within the required schedule.
Directly supervise welders, technicians, and production workers, including manpower allocation and performance follow-up.
Supervise the manufacturing of pressure vessels, air receiver tanks, piping, structural steel, and industrial equipment components.
Read engineering drawings and welding symbols and ensure work is executed according to specifications.
Ensure compliance with approved WPS / PQR / WPQ and applicable ASME and AWS requirements.
Monitor welding quality, fit-up, dimensions, testing, and overall product conformity.
Coordinate with QA/QC, Engineering, Planning, Maintenance, Procurement, and Warehouse departments.
Identify production problems and bottlenecks and take corrective actions to improve productivity and reduce waste.
Ensure compliance with safety requirements and proper use of production and welding equipment.
Prepare daily production reports and support customer and third-party inspections and testing when required.
Minimum 5 years of experience in production, welding, fabrication, and manufacturing.
Must have previous hands-on experience working as a Welder with proven practical welding experience.
Proven experience supervising production teams, welders, and technicians.
Strong practical knowledge of welding, fabrication, and fit-up; experience in SMAW / GTAW / GMAW / FCAW is preferred.
Good knowledge of WPS / PQR / WPQ, ASME Section IX, and AWS requirements.
Ability to read engineering drawings and welding symbols.
Experience in pressure vessels, air receiver tanks, piping, structural steel, or industrial equipment is preferred.
Practical and hands-on leadership style with strong problem-solving and team-management skills.
Willing and able to work on the shop floor and perform or demonstrate welding work when required.
Good command of English; computer and ERP/MRP skills are an advantage.s.
