Job description
Responsible for monitoring crop health inside greenhouses, early detection and diagnosis of plant diseases, and implementing preventive and control programs to ensure high-quality and productive crops.
Regular monitoring of greenhouse crops to detect early signs of diseases or infections.
Diagnose plant diseases (fungal, bacterial, viral, and physiological disorders).
Develop and implement Integrated Pest Management (IPM) programs.
Coordinate with cultivation and operations teams to ensure proper preventive practices.
Monitor pesticide usage and ensure compliance with dosage and safety intervals.
Analyze disease outbreaks and provide preventive solutions to avoid recurrence.
Prepare regular reports on crop health status and infection levels.
Train field workers and technicians on hygiene and preventive agricultural practices.
Support optimization of greenhouse conditions (humidity, ventilation, irrigation) to reduce disease risks.
Strong knowledge of plant diseases and field diagnosis techniques.
Experience in Integrated Pest Management (IPM) systems.
Understanding of greenhouse agriculture and environmental impact on plant health.
Strong analytical and decision-making skills in field conditions.
Good communication skills with operational teams.
