Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of STS, RTG, RMG, and other container terminal cranes.
Diagnose and repair electrical, PLC, VFD, motor, control panel, and automation system faults.
Ensure maximum crane availability by minimizing equipment downtime.
Inspect and maintain electrical components, power distribution systems, sensors, limit switches, and safety devices.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
Carry out testing, commissioning, and calibration of crane electrical systems.
Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure smooth terminal activities.
Maintain maintenance records and prepare technical reports.
Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and international safety standards.
Participate in emergency breakdown maintenance whenever required.
Bachelor's degree or diploma in electrical engineering.
A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in container terminal or port operations is COMPULSORY.
Experience in maintenance of STS (Ship-to-Shore), RTG (Rubber-Tyred Gantry), RMG (Rail-Mounted Gantry), or other port cranes is mandatory.
Strong knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, electrical control systems, industrial motors, MCCs, power distribution, and crane automation.
Ability to troubleshoot electrical and control system failures independently.
Experience in reading electrical schematics and technical documentation.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Gulf experience will be an added advantage.
