Cost Department Manager

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Preparation and monitoring of project budgets and analysis of actual costs compared to established budgets.
• Monitoring of operational and capital costs, identifying variances, and recommending appropriate solutions.
• Preparation of periodic financial reports related to performance metrics and costs.
• Collaboration with project management, procurement, and finance departments to ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Preparation of financial forecasts and cash flow projections for projects.
• Development and improvement of cost monitoring procedures and systems.
• Review of change orders and their financial impact on projects.
• Ensuring optimal use of the Oracle Fusion system in cost management and report preparation.
• Providing recommendations to senior management to improve financial performance and increase spending efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or equivalent.
• CMA (Certified Management Accountant) certification preferred or equivalent.

Experience:

• Experience of no less than 10 years in cost monitoring or management accounting.
• Experience in the contracting sector (essential).
• Practical experience with Oracle Fusion system.
