Essential Responsibilities and Duties
- Accountable for the complete operation of Ambulance Services and ensure the proper level of patient care.
- Collaborates with the Manager, ensures appropriate policies, protocols and operational performance are in place to deliver a safe and high quality patient care.
- Ensures that equipment is properly maintained and operated. Ensures the safe work practices are followed. Ensures that all requires supplies and materials are present.
- Accountable for the safety and well-being of staff members within area of responsibility, ensuring risks relating to staff, vehicles, and equipment are properly identified and appropriate action is t aken.
- Prepares call volume reports, requests for proposals, and projects under the direction of the manager.
- Assesses emergency situations to determine the best course of action and appropriate protocol.
- Responsible for the enforcement of all Personnel policies, and the handling of disciplinary problems as required
- Participates in self and other's education, training and development, as applicable.
- Follows all hospital related policies and procedures.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education
Master s or Bachelor s Degree in Emergency medical Services or other related discipline is required.
Experience Required
- *Grade 10: Four (4) years of related experience with Master s or six (6) years with Bachelor s Degree is required.
- * Grade 11: Four (4) years as Supervisor, Ambulance Services at KFSH&RC, or related experience in Emergency Health, or related majors (Grade 11) is required - Average of annual performance appraisal at least (3.5) for the last four (4) years.
- One hundred (100) hours of cumulative continued medical education [CME].
Other Requirements(Certificates)
- *Current Registration from country of origin and Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS) is required.
- * The following qualifications: BLS, ACLS,PALS, NRP and PHTLS are required.
- * Bilingual skills [Arabic and English] and excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
- * Computer proficiency is essential.
