Job description
Conduct rigorous visual inspections of pipeline welds and materials, meticulously documenting any deviations from specified standards.
Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) such as radiography (RT), ultrasonic testing (UT), and magnetic particle testing (MT) to ensure weld integrity and material soundness.
Interpret radiographic films and digital images, identifying discontinuities and assessing their severity against acceptance criteria.
Verify compliance with project specifications, engineering drawings, and relevant industry codes (e.g., API, ASME, AWS) throughout the construction phase.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in NDT methods are highly desirable.
Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a QC Inspector, specifically with pipeline construction projects.
Possession of valid NDT certifications (e.g., ASNT Level II in RT, UT, MT, PT) is essential.
Proven experience working with various pipeline materials (e.g., carbon steel, stainless steel) and welding processes.
