Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Planning Manger to join our team! In this role you will get to develop and manage all planning, scheduling, and time related risk activities for the Tunnel System Integration package within the Diriyah Infrastructure Program. This role will Oversee the development and control of integrated schedules covering civil works, MEP, tunnel systems, fit out, testing & commissioning, interfaces, and handover. Also, Ensure alignment and full integration with the overall program master schedule and related infrastructure packages.
What You'll Be Doing:
Planning & Scheduling
Progress Measurement & Reporting
Develop and implement a robust progress measurement system, including earned value metrics and key performance indicators for time and productivity.
Monitor actual progress against the baseline; identify variances, trends, and early warning indicators, and recommend corrective and recovery actions.
Prepare regular planning reports (weekly, monthly, and ad hoc) including:
Progress curves and S curves
Critical path and near critical path analysis
Milestone tracking
2 week and 4 week look ahead programmes
Support the preparation and presentation of planning information for executive steering committees, client progress meetings, and internal governance reviews.
Interface & Integration Management
Lead time related coordination for all interfaces affecting tunnel system integration, including:
Civil and structural works
Utilities and infrastructure diversions
Trackworks, road, and streetscape interfaces (if applicable)
MEP systems, life safety, and control systems
Architectural finishes and public realm
Chair and/or support coordination meetings focused on programme interfaces, constraints, and access sequencing.
Ensure tunnel system integration schedules are fully aligned with:
Overall Diriyah Infrastructure Master Schedule
Adjacent packages and enabling works
External stakeholders (authorities, utility providers, third parties).
Claims, Change & Risk Management
Governance, Standards & Continuous Improvement
Key Deliverables
Approved baseline schedule and subsequent schedule revisions for the Tunnel System Integration package.
Integrated and coordinated schedule that reflects all relevant interfaces and constraints.
Regular progress and performance reports, including:
Progress curves and S curves
Critical path and float analysis
Look ahead schedules
Risk adjusted schedule scenarios
Time impact analyses for change events and claims.
Inputs to program wide schedule risk analysis and mitigation plans.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 10 years of relevant planning and scheduling experience in major infrastructure or transportation projects with at least 5 years in a senior planning role on large, complex, multi disciplinary programs.
Demonstrable experience in tunnel projects and/or system integration packages, such as:
Road or rail tunnels
Utility tunnels or underground infrastructure
Complex MEP, life safety, and control systems integration
Effective communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging with senior client representatives and project leadership.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to translate complex technical and construction issues into clear scheduling strategies.
Strong capability in schedule development, resource loading, cost loading, and earned value analysis.
Experience with planning interfaces to BIM/4D tools and common data environments is beneficial.
High level of competency in MS Excel, Power BI or similar tools for data analytics and dashboard reporting.
Solid understanding of construction methodologies for tunnels, MEP systems, fire and life safety systems, and
