Job description
Ensure the safe and compliant installation, inspection, and maintenance of all electrical and instrumentation equipment within hazardous (Ex) areas, adhering strictly to ATEX and IECEx standards.
Develop and implement robust testing procedures for Ex-rated equipment, including intrinsically safe circuits, flameproof enclosures, and increased safety systems, to guarantee operational integrity.
Perform detailed risk assessments and hazard analyses specifically for E&I systems in explosive atmospheres, identifying potential ignition sources and implementing mitigation strategies.
Troubleshoot complex E&I system failures in hazardous zones, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to minimize downtime and ensure safety.
Possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a closely related field.
Hold a valid CompEx (Explosive Atmospheres) certification, covering relevant modules for hazardous area operations.
Demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Electrical and Instrumentation engineering within industries operating in hazardous environments .
