Job description
The CARC Paint Specialist performs daily Chemical Agent Resistive Coating (CARC) paint operations for Patriot ground support equipment to military standards. Responsibilities include surface preparation and painting, implementing corrosion/process control and finishing systems, and ensuring processes and materials treatment align with Raytheon standards.
What You Will Do:
- Prepare the paint spraying facilities as well as the surfaces to be painted
- Remove old paint and lay the primer on surfaces
- Spray paint all Air Defense Forces systems equipment and associated elements
- Apply the necessary putties and other finishing / body works when needed
- Participate in On-the-Job Training (OJT) when needed
- Perform other required work in the same field
Diploma in Painting and Body Works from an accredited foreign or local college or institute or High School Certificate with courses in Painting and Body Works. A minimum of 8 years relevant experience in the field of using paint ovens, sandblasting devices, and CARC coatings is preferred. Demonstrated proficiency operating commercial blast equipment for aluminum and steel surface preparation. Demonstrated proficiency operating commercial paint equipment for pre-treatment, primers, and CARC paint application. Strict compliance with all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required PPE.
