Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Landscape Inspector to join our site team in Diriyah Gate, which includes a series of iconic and neighborhood parks, open spaces, and over 55 kilometers of streetscape. The objective of this project is to create a vibrant, inclusive environment that enhances livability, accessibility, and community well-being.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Attend Inspection Requests (IRs) submitted by the contractor and take appropriate action promptly.
- Assist in reviewing submitted shop drawings against contract drawings and specifications, local codes and statutory requirements, and international best practices.
- Report any works carried out by contractors found to not be in accordance with approved drawings and specifications and report to stakeholders for appropriate action.
- Monitor the quality of executed works and the progress on site daily.
- Maintain records for daily activities on site including progress photos and ensure they are readily available for inspection as and when required.
- Prepare surveillance report(s) for deficiencies of work found at the site and nonconformance reports (NCR) if required in view of the development of events.
- Check and ensure effective coordination between discipline-related works and all other disciplines.
- Provide technical input and experiences to resolve any discipline-related issues on-site that may arise.
- Inspect construction works to ensure compliance with approved methods and contract requirements.
- Maintain records of inspections, work executed, etc.
- Assist in or measure work done when required.
- Observe site safety procedures.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Must have a Degree in Architecture with 1-5 years of related experience in direct landscape work.
Broad general engineering background, and previous project engineering experience is required.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
- Professional registration may also be required Proven ability to perform in a supervisory/leadership role.
- Thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations are required.
- Must also possess a thorough knowledge of current technology and be able to select and apply appropriate engineering software for use on project.
