Purpose of the Job

The cleaner must maintain their designated area in the center in a healthy, organized, safe, and attractive manner at all times.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

• Wet cleaning with a germicidal/detergent solution for all furnishings and equipment.
• Cleaning all surfaces with a damp cloth.
• Emptying and cleaning ashtrays and trash bins.
• Arranging furniture and equipment in an organized manner.
• Cleaning using cleaning cream for all sinks, bathtubs, and showers.
• Replenishing all types of hand soaps, paper towels, and other disposable materials.
• Cleaning patient beds upon their discharge according to the head nurse's instructions.
• Collecting trash and separating regular waste from medical waste.
• Using, cleaning, and storing cleaning equipment in an organized manner.
• Reporting any maintenance problems to the Housekeeping Department supervisor.
• Participating in individual-focused care initiatives.
• Enriching the patient experience with empathy, respect, and dignity.
• Performing any suitable tasks and duties assigned within the scope of knowledge and skills.

• Educational/Professional Qualifications: At least high school level.
• Professional Skills: Any specialization.
• Certifications: Not available.
• Experience: At least one year of experience in the same field.
