Job description
- Prepare and cook various dishes to high standards, ensuring compliance with specified quality standards while adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Prepare ingredients and cut vegetables, meats, and fish according to established recipes.
- Cook various dishes (hot and cold) according to required standards and quality.
- Monitor temperatures and cooking times to ensure food safety.
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and on utensils and equipment at all times.
- Comply with food safety and personal hygiene regulations (HACCP or local systems).
- Assist the chef in preparing daily and special menus.
- Control the quantities of raw materials and minimize waste.
- Receive and inspect incoming food products, ensuring their quality.
- Work as part of the kitchen team and collaborate with other staff.
- Adhere to work schedules and be prepared to work in various shifts (morning/evening).
- Report any equipment malfunctions or shortages in supplies.
