Lifting Manager

Manage and supervise all lifting and material-handling activities related to electrical construction.

Develop and implement lifting strategies in accordance with the construction schedule and project requirements.

Coordinate lifting activities for heavy and critical electrical equipment, including transformers, switchgear, generators, RMUs, MCCs, electrical panels, busducts, cable drums, and other equipment.

Ensure lifting operations are properly planned, coordinated, and executed by competent personnel.

Review and approve lifting plans, method statements, risk assessments, and lifting studies.

Ensure appropriate cranes, lifting equipment, accessories, and manpower are selected based on load characteristics and site conditions.

Coordinate with the Engineering and Construction teams for complex and critical lifts.

Plan and coordinate the mobilization and utilization of mobile cranes, crawler cranes, tower cranes, forklifts, telehandlers, hoists, winches, and other lifting equipment.

Coordinate with Electrical Construction teams to ensure equipment is ready for lifting and installation.

Develop lifting arrangements for equipment installed in substations, electrical rooms, plant rooms, utility areas, and other restricted locations.

Ensure all lifting operations comply with project HSE requirements, approved procedures, and applicable local regulations.

Conduct risk lifting assessments and ensure appropriate control measures are implemented.

Review subcontractor lifting plans, equipment certifications, and competency records.

Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with project requirements.

Bachelor's Degree / Diploma with 15-18 years of experience in lifting operations in Me

Experience with major projects such as stadiums, high-rise buildings, hotels, villas & airports.
