Assist skilled mechanics in disassembling, repairing, and reassembling various types of pumps, ensuring all parts are handled with care.

Safely transport tools, equipment, and replacement parts to and from job sites, maintaining an organized and efficient workflow.

Perform basic maintenance tasks such as cleaning pump components, lubricating moving parts, and checking fluid levels under supervision.

Follow strict safety protocols and guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.

Identify and report any worn or damaged parts to the lead mechanic, contributing to proactive problem-solving.

Help with the installation of new pumps and related piping systems, ensuring correct alignment and secure connections.

Take accurate measurements and readings as directed, assisting in diagnostics and performance checks.

Maintain a clean and orderly work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored and accounted for.

High school diploma or equivalent education, providing a foundational understanding of mechanical principles.

Possession of a valid driver's license, enabling reliable transportation to diverse work locations.

Basic understanding of hand and power tools commonly used in mechanical repairs and maintenance.

Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings, schematics, and work orders.

Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, as well as work in various weather conditions and confined spaces.

Installs, services, and repairs water and sewage pumps and related controls.
