Gate Reception & Data Entry Officer

Roles & Responsibilities

• Receive drivers, customers, and visitors professionally at the container yard gate.
• Verify all operational documents before container Gate In and Gate Out transactions.
• Accurately enter operational data into the company's computerized logistics and operational management systems.
• Register and update all container movement records accurately.
• Verify container numbers, seal numbers, and supporting documents before processing transactions.
• Prepare and print operational documents, receipts, invoices, and gate passes.
• Coordinate with Operations, Finance, and Yard Supervisors to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries professionally.
• Maintain accurate electronic and physical records.
• Prepare daily operational reports and maintain proper documentation.
• Report operational issues, discrepancies, or data errors immediately.
• Comply with company policies, operational procedures, and safety regulations.
• Work in rotational operational shifts based on business requirements.

Candidate Requirements

• Educational qualification is flexible.
• Practical experience, computer skills, and the ability to learn are more important than academic qualifications.
• Minimum one year of experience in Data Entry, Administration, Reception, Logistics, or Accounting.
• Good computer skills.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to learn and efficiently use computerized logistics and operational management systems.
• Good English communication skills.
• Basic Arabic communication is preferred.
• Fast and accurate typing skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
• Immediate joining is preferred.
• Transferable Iqama is preferred.
