Job description
We are seeking a talented and creative Executive Pastry & Bakery Chef to lead the development of a unique bakery and pastry program for an exciting fast casual dining concept.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Lebanese and international bakery and pastry, with a strong background in product development, recipe creation, and operational execution. This role will be responsible for creating signature breads, pastries, desserts, and baked goods while ensuring consistency, quality, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of signature breads, sandwich buns, flatbreads, pastries, desserts, and bakery products
- Drive research and development, including product creation, testing, refinement, and launch
- Develop standardized recipes, specifications, and production procedures to ensure consistency and scalability
- Apply various baking, fermentation, and pastry techniques to create innovative and commercially successful products
- Oversee bakery and pastry operations, quality control, food safety, and cost management
- Identify market trends and translate them into unique product opportunities
- Train and mentor bakery and pastry teams to ensure successful execution and adherence to standards
