Service Engineer – Batteries & Chargers – Saudi Arabia

Deliver technical field service for motive power batteries, chargers and related industrial equipment within the assigned territory in Saudi Arabia.

Gulf experience is preferred, with Saudi Arabia market exposure an advantage.

Valid Saudi driving licence required, with willingness to travel frequently to customer sites within Saudi Arabia.

Conduct inspections, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance at customer sites.

Diagnose faults in lead-acid batteries, charging systems and related equipment, and recommend effective corrective actions.

Respond to customer complaints and service requests, ensuring timely communication, escalation and closure.

Support preventive maintenance programmes, annual maintenance agreements and other service contracts.

Coordinate with sales teams on customer requirements, site conditions, technical recommendations, quotations and service opportunities.

Prepare accurate service reports, inspection findings and follow-up action plans.

Train customers and operators on correct battery operation, charging, maintenance, handling and safety practices.

Maintain service records, equipment history, spare parts requirements and customer feedback in company systems.

Identify recurring technical issues and coordinate with internal teams to address their root causes.

Follow company quality, health, safety and environmental procedures, and promptly report unsafe conditions and incidents.

Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent engineering qualification.

5–6 years of relevant technical or field service experience.

Hands-on experience with industrial batteries, motive power systems, chargers, forklifts or material handling equipment is highly preferred.

Gulf experience is preferred, with UAE or Saudi Arabia market exposure an advantage.

Strong electrical troubleshooting, diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently at customer sites and manage multiple service priorities.

Good customer communication, coordination and technical reporting skills.

Valid UAE or Saudi driving licence, as applicable to the assigned territory, and willingness to travel frequently to customer sites.

Professional written and spoken English; Arabic proficiency is highly preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to use ERP and service reporting systems.
