Job description
Lead and mentor a team of hydraulic mechanics, ensuring efficient and safe execution of maintenance and repair tasks on complex hydraulic systems.
Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of critical hydraulic equipment.
Diagnose and troubleshoot intricate hydraulic system failures, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and expert knowledge to identify root causes.
Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of new hydraulic machinery, ensuring adherence to design specifications and safety standards.
Possession of a High School Diploma or equivalent; vocational training or associate's degree in a related technical field is highly preferred.
Relevant certifications such as Certified Fluid Power Specialist (CFPS) or equivalent are a significant advantage.
A minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience as a hydraulic mechanic, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
Proven experience in heavy industry, manufacturing, or marine sectors where complex hydraulic systems are prevalent.
