Job description
Execute post-weld heat treatment (PWHT) procedures precisely according to engineering specifications and applicable codes (e.g., ASME, API).
Set up and operate various heating equipment, including resistance heating elements, induction heating systems, and furnaces, ensuring proper insulation.
Monitor and record temperature profiles using calibrated thermocouples and data loggers throughout the entire heating and cooling cycle.
Troubleshoot and resolve heating anomalies or equipment malfunctions promptly to maintain treatment integrity and project timelines.
High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
Certified as a Level II or Level III Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) technician with a specialization in PWHT.
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in performing PWHT on diverse materials and components in industrial settings.
Proficiency in interpreting welding procedures, code requirements (ASME Section IX, API , and P&IDs.
