To support the Maintenance team in ensuring the safe, reliability, and efficient operation of production equipment and facility systems through routine inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and basic electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspection and basic maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment and production machinery.
- Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities according to approved maintenance plans and procedures.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical and electrical equipment faults, including motors, drives, gearboxes, and control systems.
- Carry out basic repairs, replacement, and adjustment of mechanical and electrical components as required.
- Identify and report equipment abnormalities, breakdowns, and potential maintenance requirements promptly.
- Ensure maintenance activities are completed safely and in accordance with company procedures and safety requirements.
- Use appropriate maintenance tools and testing instruments to support fault finding and equipment inspection.
- Complete maintenance checklists, work orders, and maintenance records accurately.
- Maintain good housekeeping and organization of maintenance workshops, tools, and work areas.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
Qualifications
· Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related technical field.
Experience
- 0–2 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Fresh graduates with relevant technical training may also be considered.
