Warehouse keeper

Job Purpose:

To manage the medical warehouse and ensure the accurate and organized receipt, storage, and distribution of medical materials and supplies, while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

1. Receive medical materials and supplies and verify that quantities and specifications match purchase orders and invoices.
2. Accurately record incoming materials in the inventory management system.
3. Arrange materials within the warehouse in an organized manner that facilitates access and reduces loss or damage.
4. Adhere to the application of safe storage standards according to the nature of the materials.
5. Distribute materials to requesting parties based on approved requests, and update distribution data in the system.
6. Monitor inventory periodically, and report on missing, stagnant, or nearly depleted items.
7. Participate in conducting periodic and annual inventory counts, and document discrepancies between physical and system balances.

Skills

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of two years of experience in warehouse management.
• Proficiency in the English language.
