Job Description

Prepare and develop the foundations, regulations, and procedures for occupational safety and health in the workplace, identify occupational hazards and methods to avoid them, provide safety supplies and tools and follow up on their use, and prepare specialized documents and reports on work results.

Main Duties and Tasks

• Prepare and develop the foundations, procedures, and instructions for occupational safety and health, such as: safety policy, safe work instructions, evacuation instructions, safety committee instructions, safety records, and medical examinations, and follow up on their approval and monitor compliance.
• Identify sources of mechanical, electrical, and chemical hazards in the workplace and place warning signs and labels.
• Prepare lists of items, quantities, and specifications for occupational safety and health equipment and supplies, and follow up on their provision and ensure workers' compliance in using them.
• Develop work methods and procedures and keep pace with technical developments.
• Prepare specialized documents and reports related to engineering works and projects and their progress rates, and present, clarify, and store them in the database according to approved policies and procedures.

Work Experience

Two years of experience in the field of occupational safety and health or a similar field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an unspecified engineering or engineering crafts specialization.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering.
