Senior Electrical Technical Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the technical review of electrical designs, IFC drawings, specifications, and engineering deliverables.
2. Verify and challenge engineering calculations to ensure technical accuracy, constructability, and compliance with project requirements.
3. Perform and review electrical studies including:

• Load Flow Analysis
• Voltage Drop Calculations
• Short Circuit Analysis
• Protection Coordination Study
• Cable Sizing Calculations
• Earthing & Lightning Protection Design
• Fault Level Assessment
• Power Quality Analysis
• Review and coordinate MV, LV, ELV, Lighting, Emergency Power, Generator, UPS, and Earthing Systems.
• Identify design gaps, clashes, technical risks, and opportunities for optimization and value engineering.
• Support procurement teams in technical evaluations of vendors, suppliers, and specialist subcontractors.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, technical queries, and alternative proposals.
• Coordinate with consultants, design firms, project teams, and subcontractors to resolve complex engineering issues.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Building Code (SBC), SEC Requirements, IEC, IEEE, NFPA, and international engineering standards.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to project engineers and site engineering teams.
• Support design development, construction engineering, and technical decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
