Construction Manager

Plan the overall work execution and monitor daily construction activities at site.

Supervise all construction activities across the entire project site.

Provide technical inputs for construction methodologies and site execution strategies.

Support resource mobilization and facilitate resource sharing among various teams at site.

Allocate tasks within teams based on skill sets and project requirements.

Prepare bills for payment and support commercial activities as required.

Estimate quantities and raise indents/orders for construction materials.

Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, materials, machinery, and equipment.

Manage site material flow and coordinate with the storekeeper for material control.

Carry out periodic material reconciliation and ensure proper tracking of site consumption.

Implement and enforce all health and safety measures at site.

Ensure compliance with quality assurance procedures and maintain all required documentation.

• Monitor project progress and update the Project Manager regularly on status, risks, and challenges.
• Ensure the project is executed within the approved schedule timeline and budget baseline.
• Coordinate with the client’s / consultant’s site representatives for approvals, inspections, and execution-related matters.
• Handle site office administration and provide necessary inputs for cost control.
• Oversee execution related to foundation works, tower erection, stringing, and substation construction activities, as applicable to the project scope.

Strong experience in 380 kV minimum Substation projects.

Good exposure to foundation works, tower erection, stringing, and related construction activities.

Strong knowledge of site construction planning, execution, and methodology.

Ability to manage resource allocation, material planning, and productivity at site.

Experience in billing, quantity estimation, material reconciliation, and cost control.

Sound understanding of quality assurance, documentation, and HSE compliance.

Excellent leadership skills to manage large site teams, subcontractors, and multiple work fronts.

Strong coordination and communication skills to work with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders.

Ability to drive projects within timelines and resolve site execution challenges effectively.
