AGL Technician

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot airfield ground lighting systems including runway lights,

taxiway lights, approach lighting, and associated control systems.

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of lighting fixtures, regulators,

cables, connectors, and control equipment.

• Diagnose and repair faults in lighting circuits, control panels, and related electrical systems

to ensure minimal operational disruption.

• Monitor system performance and promptly report irregularities or failures affecting airfield

lighting operations.

• Assist in testing, calibration, and commissioning of newly installed or upgraded lighting

systems.

• Coordinate with engineering teams and supervisors during maintenance activities and

scheduled shutdowns.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, system faults, inspections, and repairs.

• Ensure proper handling and maintenance of tools, spare parts, and testing equipment.

• Diploma or technical certification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a

• Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical maintenance, lighting systems, or airfield ground

lighting systems within large infrastructure or aviation environments.
