Role Summary
Seeking a Testing & Commissioning Engineer with solid EHV experience (132kV, 220kV, 400kV). The role focuses on end-to-end testing, protection validation, and system integration of high-voltage substations and associated equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Execute testing and commissioning activities for EHV substations (132kV–400kV)
Perform testing of transformers, GIS, cables, and associated HV equipment
Conduct protection relay testing and scheme verification
Carry out secondary injection, primary injection, and functional testing
Validate SCADA systems, signals, and communication interfaces
Perform condition monitoring and diagnostic assessments
Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and safety procedures
Coordinate with engineering, construction, and client teams during commissioning phases
Prepare test reports, commissioning documentation, and handover packages
5–6 years of proven experience in EHV testing & commissioning
Hands-on experience with:
Power transformers, GIS, HV cables
Protection relays and control schemes
SCADA systems and substation automation
Strong knowledge of international standards and protocols:
IEC 61850
Modbus TCP/IP
DNP3.0
IEC 60870-5-104
Ability to read and interpret single line diagrams, schematics, and protection logic
Experience working on live substations and high-pressure commissioning environments
Preferred Profile
Willingness to work on-site and travel as required
