Assist in the installation, testing, commissioning, and start-up of industrial refrigeration systems utilizing ammonia (NH₃) refrigerant.
Support commissioning activities for compressors, condensers, evaporators, vessels, pumps, valves, and associated refrigeration equipment.
Perform pressure testing, leak detection, vacuuming, refrigerant charging, and system performance testing.
Monitor and verify operational parameters including pressure, temperature, flow rates, and system efficiency.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control-related issues in ammonia refrigeration systems.
Assist in the commissioning of PLC, control panels, sensors, instrumentation, and safety interlock systems.
Review and interpret P&ID drawings, refrigeration schematics, equipment layouts, and technical documentation.
Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, vendors, and project teams during installation and commissioning activities.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety procedures related to ammonia refrigeration systems.
Prepare commissioning reports, inspection records, punch lists, and technical documentation.
Participate in system performance testing and final handover activities.
Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities when required.
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, HVAC, or related discipline.
Minimum 3-8 years of experience in Industrial Refrigeration Systems.
Mandatory experience in Ammonia (NH₃) Refrigeration Plants.
Mandatory experience in Installation & Commissioning Projects.
Experience with screw compressors, reciprocating compressors, condensers, evaporators, pumps, pressure vessels, and ammonia refrigeration equipment.
Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration cycles, controls, instrumentation, and safety systems.
Ability to read and understand P&ID drawings, refrigeration schematics, and technical manuals.
Experience in pressure testing, leak testing, refrigerant charging, and system start-up activities.
Knowledge of PLC controls, SCADA, BMS, and industrial automation systems will be an advantage.
Familiarity with ammonia handling procedures and industrial safety standards.
Gulf experience preferred.
Good English communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking).
