Job description
Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspections using various methods like ultrasonic, radiography, and magnetic particle testing to identify defects in materials and components.
Interpret inspection results, evaluate findings against acceptance criteria, and generate detailed reports documenting the inspection process and results, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Calibrate and maintain NDT equipment, ensuring proper functionality and accuracy, and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime and maintain inspection reliability.
Adhere to established safety protocols and procedures while performing NDT inspections, including radiation safety practices, to ensure a safe working environment and prevent accidents.
Possesses a High School Diploma or equivalent, with a preference for candidates with an Associate's degree in a technical field.
Holds relevant NDT certifications, such as ASNT Level II or III in multiple methods (UT, RT, MT, PT), demonstrating a strong foundation in NDT principles.
Requires a minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in NDT, showcasing practical application and problem-solving abilities.
Demonstrates experience in the aerospace, oil & gas, or manufacturing industries, indicating familiarity with specific industry standards and practices.
