Job description

Establishes aviation logistics support goals and milestones; provides vision, direction and supervision to achieve the established goals of the logistics support plan to improve aviation logistics support for the organization. Provides Senior Level Management with Logistical Solutions while managing the day to day technical aspects of the aviation logistics support of the organization. Subject Matter Expert for Aviation Logistics and Technical Supply Chain Management; manages budgets, provisioning for the organizations' expanding mission and provides AS9110 operational direction to ensure daily operation adheres to the standards outlined in the statues. Thoroughly understand AR PHONE_NUMBER operational readiness standards by MDS aircraft and manipulates the supply chain to reduce the order to ship time to bolster the Operational Ready Rate. Possesses good understanding of FMS Case regulations as well as pertinent FMs, ARs, DA Pams and DoD publications governing management of materiel and materiel accountability. Ensures that the aviation supply chain functional activities are planned, coordinated, integrated, synchronized to achieve the established MDS aircraft operational readiness (OR) rates in accordance with contractual requirements.

  • Education Level: Bachelor's degree (preferred). Graduate of Military Aviation Officer/Senior Non-Commission Officer Advanced Course required, Combined Logistics Officer Advance Course, and Warrant Advanced Course (preferred). Military Education Level 4 (MEL4) desired.
  • Experience: 15 years' experience in US Military Aviation Logistics/Supply Chain Management (LSCM) or (12 years of Aviation military LSCM, six years industry/civilian experience) required. Former Officer or Senior Enlisted (preferred). Five years industry/civilian experience (preferred). US Aviation Military LSCM experience within the last five - eight years desired. Former aviation logistics officer with background in aviation maintenance desired.
  • Specific knowledge, skill, and ability requirements: must possess an understanding of the US military aviation logistics system specific to aircraft maintenance and repair. Have successfully completed AS9PHONE_NUMBER Lead Auditor Training highly desired. Demonstrates performance in the management of best-in-class Aviation supply chain principles inventory management; forecasting, optimization and planning; stock, store, and issue; material handling, packaging, and transportation; automated logistics management systems; and Aviation Logistics/Supply Chain Management (LSCM) training. A strong working knowledge of Aviation property accountability and reporting, quality control, vendor/subcontractor management, Aviation STAMIS user experience and import/export administration. Proficient with Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Aptitude to effectively communicate in meetings and conferences, as required. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and written. Ability to effectively interrelate with individuals in the supervision of staff. Ability to establish rapport with customers in a professional and courteous manner. Strong organizational and work management skills.
  • US Citizenship is required for access to export/import control information.
  • Possess a valid driver's license.
  • Medical Examination: Candidates must successfully complete all mandatory medical examinations required to obtain employment.
  • Criminal Record: To qualify for a Saudi Work Visa, candidates must have a clean criminal record with no prior convictions, as specified by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
  • Drug and Alcohol Testing: Candidates must pass a drug test to be considered for employment. Additionally, our ATSS program enforces a random drug and alcohol testing policy. Employees will be subject to periodic testing to maintain adherence to our workplace standards and safety regulations.
  • Compliance with Saudi Labor Law: All employment terms and conditions will be in accordance with Saudi Labor Law. Candidates must be prepared to adhere to these regulations throughout their employment.
