What You'll Be Doing:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and budgets.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments.
- Define project deliverables and milestones.
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to develop project designs.
- Review and approve design documents and drawings.
- Ensure designs meet regulatory requirements and client specifications.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of project teams.
- Monitor progress and performance against project plans.
- Ensure compliance with quality control measures.
- Lead and mentor project teams, including project coordinators, engineers, and design sub consultants and client s contractors.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members.
- Resolve conflicts and issues that arise during project execution.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders.
- Address client concerns and ensure satisfaction.
- Monitor project budgets and control costs.
- Allocate resources efficiently to meet project demands.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor s degree in project management, Engineering, or a related field. Having a Master s degree is an advantage.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in project management, including at least 5 years in a leadership role on large-scale infrastructure or airport developments
- Minimum 6 years of experience in leading design projects. Experience in building and architectural design is a strong preference for this position.
- Demonstrated success managing multi-phase project delivery with complex interdependencies
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across design, supervision, and construction.
- Strong leadership and strategic planning capabilities.
- In-depth knowledge of project delivery methodologies.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver results.
- Experience delivering early works or phased building or infrastructure programs.
- Familiarity with local authority and regulatory environments.
- Experience managing transitions between planning and execution phases.
- Background in client-side project management, design management, or PMC oversight.
