Purpose of the Job

To operate and maintain all air conditioning and ventilation equipment in a safe and continuous operational state.

Main Responsibilities and Tasks

• Perform skilled mechanical maintenance work.
• Inspect, repair, install, and modify heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and related equipment and facilities.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing of equipment.
• Conduct daily inspections of chillers, air handling units, fan coil units, and exhaust fans.
• Inspect primary and secondary pumps.
• Clean pre-filters and bag filters according to schedule.
• Report any deviations from normal operating conditions to the direct supervisor.
• Supervise and guide subordinates within the scope of his work.
• Work in shifts as required.
• Work safely and within the hospital's policies and procedures.
• Participate in person-centered care initiatives undertaken by Her Majesty's Government.
• Enrich the patient experience with empathy, respect, and dignity.
• Perform other related duties and tasks within the scope of his knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Requirements

• Educational/Professional Qualifications: High school diploma with relevant vocational training.
• Experience: At least two years of experience in the same field.
