Job description
Install, configure, and maintain low voltage systems such as security, fire alarm, and access control systems, ensuring optimal functionality and adherence to safety codes.
Troubleshoot and diagnose complex issues in low voltage systems, utilizing diagnostic tools and technical expertise to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to accurately install and configure low voltage systems according to project specifications.
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on low voltage systems, identifying and addressing potential issues to ensure system longevity and reliability.
Installs and maintains low-voltage electrical systems and lighting circuits.
Possesses a High School Diploma or equivalent; a vocational or technical school certificate in electrical technology is preferred.
Holds relevant certifications such as NICET (National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies) or equivalent.
Demonstrates 8 years of hands-on experience in the low voltage electrical field, with a focus on installation and maintenance.
Displays a strong understanding of industry-specific regulations, codes, and safety standards.
