We are looking for a Counter Sales Representative to be part of our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting walk-in customers, identifying the correct spare parts, preparing quotations, processing sales orders, and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires strong product knowledge, sales skills, and the ability to build long-term customer relationships while achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist walk-in customers professionally.
- Understand customer requirements and identify the correct spare parts and suitable alternatives.
- Prepare accurate quotations and follow up to convert opportunities into sales.
- Process sales orders, invoices, and customer transactions through the ERP system.
- Coordinate with the warehouse to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Handle customer inquiries, returns, and after-sales support.
- Maintain accurate sales records and prepare required reports.
- Monitor fast-moving and unavailable parts and report stock requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing, and operational procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized counter area.
Candidate Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in heavy equipment spare parts sales (Caterpillar, Komatsu, or similar).
- Good knowledge of heavy equipment spare parts and part numbers.
- Understanding of heavy equipment systems (Engine, Hydraulic, Powertrain).
- Experience using ERP systems.
- Good English communication skills.
- Valid driving license is preferred.
